Day 3San DiegoLos Angeles - San Diego: Head south along the coast to charming San Diego, set around a sweeping bay. Enjoy a sightseeing tour and view the beautifully restored Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park-the largest cultural complex west of the Mississippi-and Historic Old Town San Diego. It was here in 1769 that Father Junipero Serra came to establish the first of 21 missions that became the cornerstones of California.

Drive along renowned 17 Mile Drive. Enjoy some of the most beautiful coastal scenery anywhere and watch for sea lions, sea otters and other marine life along the way. Take in the views of Pacific Grove and soak in a bit of California history at Monterey's Cannery Row before arriving at your hotel in Cambria.
