    Day 2Isla LobosDay 2 Quito/Isla Lobos (1B, 1L, 1D)
    Upon arrival in San CristObal, meet the Naturalist Guide, who will assist with the transfer to the Queen. After an orientation and lunch, sail to Isla Lobos home to a large sea lion colony and abundant marine life. Additional Notes: Flights from Quito to San Cristobal depart between 8:10am and 10:10am depending on the day of the week. These will arrive into the Galapagos between 10:40am and 12:40pm with a refuelling stop in Guayaquil (you will not disembark the plane). You will generally arrive onto the boat in time for lunch before the afternoon activity. The National Park charges a visitor fee of USD100, payable on arrival, which funds park maintenance and supervision in the Galapagos, as well as ecological study, conservation and infrastructure development in Ecuadors other National Parks. Entry fees and the funds they generate for the National Park System are among measures taken by the Ecuadorian government to protect its natural heritage.     Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the highlands of Santa Cruz to try to see giant land tortoises in the wild, then enjoy free time to shop and explore Puerto Ayora.     In the morning, head towards Punta Cormorant on the northern part of Floreana. This is a perfect spot to go snorkelling from the boat as the waters are home to a multitude of colourful fish and sea lions. Please make sure you are a comfortable swimmer. Despite the protection from the open sea provided by the "crown," the water here can be rough and the currents strong. In the afternoon, visit Post Office Bay, which has an older and less mysterious history. A short hike up past the post barrel takes you to an interesting lava cave.     Day 7Bahia GardnerDay 7 Punta Suarez/Bahia Gardner (1B, 1L, 1D)
    Head to Punta Suarez on EspaNola Island. The southernmost island in the Galapagos archipelago is home to several wildlife species, including masked and blue-footed boobies. A hike to the top of the cliff makes for spectacular photo opportunities. Punta Suarez on the western side of EspaNola Island (also called Hood) is spectacular. Follow the trail through a rookery and learn the geological history of the island from the Naturalist, including its dramatic volcanic features, climate, flora, and fauna.     Local Flights: All local flights to and from the Galapagos aare included in the cost of your tour. It is important that we have your passport information at the time of booking in order to process these tickets. Internal flight tickets are issued locally and will be given to you prior to the flight departure.

    Flights to either of the airports in the Galapagos leave early in the morning on Day 2 and get you into the islands in the early afternoon. Flights back to the mainland depart between 10:00am and 1:30pm arriving in the early evening.

    Please note that all flights to and from the Galapagos make a 1 hour refuelling stop in Guayaquil.
