Known for its historical significance, the town is a true delight for art lovers. The drive to Mandawa from Jaipur would take around 6 hours depending upon traffic conditions(B).

    Kochi also known as Cochin is situated on the southwest coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, God's Own Country. A stroll along the beach, particularly at sunset with the Chinese fishing nets and sailing ships in the background, is a memorable experience.     Thekkedy is South India's most popular wildlife sanctuary, covering an area of 777 sq. kms. Set on the attractive manmade Periyar Lake, it attracts several visitors a year. Though the sanctuary was made a part of Project Tiger in 1973, it is better known for its elephants. After you have checked in and relaxed, proceed for a plantation tour of the Spice Village property which is offered by the hotel. Enjoy the remaining day at leisure.(B)
    Day 10KumarakomSERINITY- A boat ride on Lake Periyar
    Enjoy a morning for a boat ride on Lake Periyar, a man made lake. See the wildlife on the banks of the lake between the shore and the forest edge. Spot birds as well. Later drive to Kumarakom.(B)
    Welcome to Kumarakom, a serenely beautiful and scenic backwater destination, a charming peninsula jutting into the Vembanad Lake. Here an old rubber plantation around the lake has been developed into a bird sanctuary. A path goes through the swamp to the main nesting area, while the island in the middle of the lake can be reached by boat.(B)
