Depart from the US, beginning an unforgettable Learning Journey to Italy!
Welcome to Italy! You will be greeted by your Perillo Tours Educational Tour Manager and transferred by motorcoach to the hotel. This afternoon you will enjoy a visit to the historic Roman Coliseum and Forum. Enjoy the beauty of Rome at night with an Illuminated Tour,en route to a festive welcome dinner, featuring traditional Roman dishes. Overnight at Hotel. (D)
This morning enjoy an interactive Italian language lesson. After our lesson, practice your communication skills as we enjoy a half day guided walking tour to the Renaissance and Baroque squares of Rome, which include Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza St Ignazio, Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps). In the evening, we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

After breakfast, we depart for Naples and Pompeii. After the tour, the group will enjoy a true delicacy for lunch - Neapolitan Pizza with buffalo mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. Performances or cultural exchanges can also be arranged. (B,L)

Depart Rome for Florence. Guided tour of Florence upon arrival, including entrance to the Accademia to see the statue of "David." Overnight and dinner at aa a historic 12th century villa in the heart of the Chianti wine producing region.(B,D)
|Day 6||San Gimigano||Tuscany-Gregorian Chants- Sant'Antimo, San Gimigano|
After breakfast departure for Sant'Aantimo (South of Montalcino). You will have a rare opportunity to listen to the monks sing. Option to perform a few songs with the monks. The Abbazia is very famous for a genuine Gregorian Chant, no music - only the human voice. It is known as the singing stone for its particular travertine marble, in which its nave is built. Then a visit to Montalcino and guided tour of San Gimignano. A dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B)
|Day 7||Venice||Pisa, Lucca, Venice|
Morning departure for Pisa, with a stop to see the famous Leaning Tower. Continue on to Lucca, the city of Puccini and to this medieval town. Continuing on to Venice for dinner and overnight. Performance of cultural exchanges can be arranged today. (B)
After breakfast enjoy a morning guided tour of Venice. Enjoy a cultural day meeing with the locals, visiting the markets and learning about vlife in Venice. In the evening, enjoy a gondola ride with singing gondoliers, a Venetian tradition. Farewell dinner at hotel. Overnight. (B,D)
