    Depart from the US, beginning an unforgettable Learning Journey to Greece!
    Day 2AthensArrive in Athens
    Yiasou and welcome to Greece! Upon arrival in Athens, meet your Perillo Tours Learning Journey Tour Manager and transfer to the center of Athens, the capital of Greece and birthplace of democracy and philosophy. Enjoy a walking tour to see the center of the city, the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the Old city Plaka and Flea Market. Proceed to the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
    Day 3AthensAthens Sightseeing Tour
    After breakfast you will have a lesson on Greek language, food and culture. Learning Experience: A lecture in the Hellenic-American University in your area of interest. Learning Experience: In the afternoon, depart for your sightseeing tour of Athens with our professional guide. First you will have a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games in 1896 were held. At the Acropolis, visit the architectural masterpieces of the Erechtheion and finally the Parthenon. Your first taste of Athens would not be complete without a visit to the Acropolis Museum, a modern architectural building where, at last, the statues have found their home and admire the wonders and architectural masterpieces of the classical era. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
    Day 4AthensAthens and Delphi
    Enjoy your breakfast and depart for your tour to Delphi. Located on the slopes of Mount Parnasus, Delphi, once believed as the centre, "Naval" of the Earth, is the home of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Learning Experience: Private lecture with a historian at the Treasury of the Athenians and the Delphi Museum. Enjoy your dinner at hotel and overnight.
    Day 5MykonosAthens - Cruise to Mykonos
    After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Piraeus port to set sail into the Aegean Sea. In the evening we arrive at our first island: Mykonos, which belongs to the group of the Cyclades. Must "sees" in Mykonos include the church of the Virgin Paraportiani and the Cathedral on the main square as well as the many boutiques and taverns along tiny paved streets. Return to your ship for dinner and overnight.
    Day 6PatmosCruise to Ephesus - Kusadasi, Turkey and Patmos
    Arrive at the port of Kusadasi on the Turkish coast where you can take an optional excursion to the Ancient city of Ephesus, where Mary lived with John in a small house on the hill behind the city. Ship sets sail at noon for the Island of Patmos, the holy island where Saint John the Divine wrote the book of Revelations. On the optional excursion we will visit the cave where he lived. Now the site of a monastery housing priceless icons and manuscripts. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner overnight on board.
    Day 7RhodesCruise to Rhodes
    A day to the island of Rhodes. Optional excursion to the Temple of Athena at the magnificent Acropolis of Lindos and the Valley of the butterflies. Learning Experience: Freedom of Choice
    Day 8Santorini and CreteCruise to Santorini and Crete
    In the morning we arrive at the volcanic island of Santorini in the Cyclades. Admire the spectacular caldera, created by the eruption of islet's volcano in the ancient times and the white washed houses perched on the edge. Explore this cosmopolitan island on your own or take an optional tour and enjoy the breathtaking panorama and the world famous sunset in Oia traditional village. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight on board.
    Day 9Piraeus and SounionPiraeus and Sounion
    After disembarkation, depart for your tour in Sounion. Drive along the coastal road, passing the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza to the most Southern point of Attica, Cape Sounion, where the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand. After visiting the Temple of Poseidon, you have time to walk at leisure on the rocky promontory of Sounion. This evening you will enjoy a festive Greek dinner! Overnight onboard.

    Today marks the end of the tour. After breakfast you will be transferred to Athens airport.
