Day 1SydneyArrive Sydney (3 Nights): Welcome to Sydney! On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel (flights to arrive prior to 11am). After check-in, your Travel Director will bring you to the famous Rocks Markets for a Cultural Insight. Held every weekend in the city where European settlers first stepped ashore on 26 January 1788, the market is more than a shopping experience. Explore the narrow lanes, stroll along cobblestone streets and traverse historic sandstone steps browsing the market stalls featuring jewellery, Indigenous artwork, evocative photography, gifts, souvenirs, homewares, sweet and savoury treats and arts and crafts. Now it's time to find your sea-legs as you board a Captain Cook Cruise for your Welcome Reception and dinner with your Travel Director and fellow travellers. Step inside and discover the stories and history behind Danish architect Jørn Utzon's remarkable achievement. Later, your destination is famous Bondi Beach, for an iconic Australian experience. You'll be greeted by a local surf lifesaver before a Regional Meal at an Aussie institution, the Returned Servicemen's Club, with its views over the sparkling Pacific Ocean. Your host, a Local Specialist, will take you on an exclusive tour through Australia's oldest surf lifesaving club for an insight into the history of Bondi and surf lifesaving. Day 6Port DouglasHamilton Island - Cairns - Port Douglas (2 Nights): Today fly from Hamilton Island to Cairns. Take a short journey to the resort town of Port Douglas, nestled between two World Heritage listed areas, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree National Park. This afternoon explore the village, perhaps join one of the resort's activities or just relax by the lagoon-style pool. This evening you may be tempted by a cocktail at Estilo lounge bar before dinner at Bazaar marketplace.Buffet Breakfast, Dinner with wine

Day 7Port DouglasGreat Barrier Reef: Board a Quicksilver wavepiercing catamaran for your cruise to Agincourt Reef, at the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. The friendly professional crew will take you to an underwater world that is a dazzling kaleidoscope of colour and brilliance. Choose to snorkel (equipment provided) or you can stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-sub, just one metre underwater. You can watch the fish-feeding from the unique underwater viewing platform and underwater observatory. A hot and cold tropical buffet including fresh prawns, meats, salads and fruit is served before you return to Port Douglas this afternoon.Buffet Breakfast, Lunch
Day 8CairnsPort Douglas - Cairns (2 Nights): Your first stop is Mossman Gorge in the Daintree National Park for your Ngadiku Dreamtime Gorge Walk. In this hands-on experience you'll learn about traditional plant use and your Local Specialist Indigenous Guide will identify bush food sources. They will provide an enchanting narrative of the rainforest and their special relationship with this unique tropical environment. At the end of the journey enjoy traditional bush tea and damper (bread). Later, journey to Kuranda, where there's time to explore the 'village in the rainforest' including the Heritage Village Markets. Return to the lowlands on the Skyrail Cableway high above the canopy of the Barron Gorge National Park.
