Day 6MontereyPaso Robles - San Simeon - Carmel - Monterey: Begin your day at "La Cuesta Encantada"-the enchanted hill-upon which William Randolph Hearst built his magnificent castle. Drive Highway 1 toward Big Sur, running along the most beautiful coastline in the United States. Then it's on to the quaint village of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
